Celebrate New Year’s Eve at one of the family-friendly events being held in St. Louis, as 2017 turns into 2018. Kids and adults will enjoy festive activities, ice skating, fireworks, and more, as they ring in the New Year.

Noontime New Year’s Eve
Dec. 31 @ 11 a.m.
The Magic House at St. Louis Children’s Museum, 516 S. Kirkwood Rd., St. Louis, MO 63122

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at this family-friendly party held during the day at The Magic House. The festivities will include noisemakers, wish wands, dancing, and a photo booth. Admission will be free with museum admission ($11).

New Year’s Eve Fireworks and Carriage Rides
Dec. 31 @ 6 p.m.
Westport Plaza, 111 West Port Plaza, St. Louis MO 63146

Westport Plaza will present an early show of sparkling fireworks at 6 p.m., which will take about 10 minutes. The fireworks show will be followed by complimentary carriage rides, beginning in front of the Plaza near St. Louis Bread Co. Kids and adults will have fun at this celebration.

Family Friendly New Year’s Eve at Winterfest Ice Rink

The ice rink will be open for extended hours on New Year’s Eve, so the family will be able to skate into the New Year. Rink admission will be free. Skate rentals will be available for $7-$12.

New Year’s Eve & Fireworks at Winterfest

The entire family will have fun at the New Year’s Eve celebration sponsored by Glenn Betz Jewelers at Winterfest at the Arch. In addition to ice skating, the celebration will include entertainment, children’s characters, and giveaways. There will be an early countdown and fireworks display at 9 p.m.

New Year’s Eve Party at Steinberg Skating Rink

Skate into the New Year at this family-friendly party on 27,600 sq. ft. of fun on the ice. Skating admission will be $7, and skate rental will be $6. The skating rink will be open daily through March 1, including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Family New Year’s Eve in Eureka
Dec. 31 @ 5 p.m.

This celebration will be a fun-filled night hosted by the Eureka Parks and Recreation Dept. The family-friendly event will include games, fun, food, and more. Tickets will be $2-$4.

Noon Year’s Eve

This New Year’s Eve party will be a daytime event for preschoolers and will include story time, activities, and an early countdown. Tickets will be $10/Child.

New Year’s Eve Lock-In in St. Peters
Dec. 31 @ 7 p.m.
St. Peters Rec-Plex, 5200 Mexico Rd., St. Peters, MO 63376

This will be an all-night event especially for children ages 8-13, who will be under adult supervision during this all-night party. Activities will include ice skating, swimming, play games, and more. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Parents will be able to go out to celebrate New be Year’s Eve while children will be in a safe and enjoyable place for the night. Tickets will $50-$60 to the general public, and there will be special pricing for Rec-Plex members.
